From the moment my family and I stepped into the Hyatt Regency Bali, I felt a wave of calm wash over me. Nestled in the heart of Sanur, the hotel is surrounded by lush gardens and a sense of timeless Balinese charm. The architecture immediately caught my eye—traditional design blended beautifully with modern comforts. It didn’t feel like I was just checking into a hotel; it felt like I had arrived at a sanctuary.

Our rooms at 2214 & 2215 opened up to a private balcony with views of the gardens, and every morning I woke up to the sound of birdsong and the gentle rustle of palm trees. The space was warm and inviting, with Balinese touches in the décor that made it feel authentic and personal, not just another hotel room. Room service was impeccable. Every order is to a T! This was tested by my son’s repeated order of their juicy burger multiple days in a row.

One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The breakfast buffet at Omang Omang was an absolute treat—an impressive spread of both international favorites and local delicacies. I found myself going back for freshly made tropical fruits and nasi goreng, enjoying every bite while overlooking the serene pool area. In the evenings, the hotel’s Pizzaria restaurant offered romantic settings with fresh seafood, bbq and traditional Balinese dishes that made each meal memorable.

But what I loved most was the feeling of relaxation that carried throughout our stay. Whether I was lounging by the pool, taking a leisurely stroll along Sanur Beach with my two kids, or simply sipping a cocktail with my husband as the sun set, everything felt unhurried and peaceful. The staff added to that sense of ease with their warm hospitality—they truly made me feel at home.

Staying at the Bali Hyatt wasn’t just about a beautiful hotel; it was about slowing down and immersing myself in the island’s gentle rhythm. It was the kind of getaway that leaves you refreshed, recharged, and already planning your next visit.
