My First ever experience at Chanel Boutique San Francisco – January 2017
In January 2017, I visited the Chanel boutique in San Francisco to purchase a special birthday gift for myself—the iconic Classic Double Flap in lambskin with silver hardware. While the overall atmosphere wasn’t as welcoming as I had hoped, one sales associate stood out and made all the difference. Her assistance and professionalism was enough to guide me through my first Chanel purchase, making it a memorable milestone.
The bag itself was everything I had hoped for—timeless, elegant, and incredibly versatile. I couldn’t keep my excitement when I brought it home. I smelled and kept opening the box to get that leather whiff. Felt like a kid with a cotton candy on her hand. A never ending smile and joy can be felt throughout our home.
It is so versatile that I used it whenever I could, whether for special outings or travel, and it remained in pristine condition for six years. The quality and craftsmanship truly lived up to Chanel’s reputation. Unfortunately, after years of perfection, the worst nightmare one could think of had happened. I accidentally dropped it, leaving some markings on the leather. Despite this, it remains a cherished piece in my collection, carrying not just luxury, but also memories of my journey with it.
And this was the beginning 🙂
